This project involved the construction of a municipal hospital with a total capacity of 107 beds, designed to provide modern medical services within a compact and efficient footprint.
The structural system includes a general slab foundation, while the superstructure consists of reinforced concrete frames combined with reinforced concrete walls, offering both strength and durability.
Due to a very high underground water level, the decision was made to omit a basement level from the design. To ensure stability and prevent ground settlement, concrete piles were used to reinforce the soil beneath the foundation, providing a solid base for the structure despite challenging geotechnical conditions.
